JOIN THE DISCORD
Sol Haven is based exclusively on Discord and as such requires interested players to join our server. You can find an invite link on the 'Home' page.
INTRODUCE YOURSELF
To gain full access to the server, players must fill out an introduction form in the 'Introductions' channel for a moderator to assign you the Explorer role. Take a few moments to say hi before jumping into the fray!
ROLL YOUR STARTER
One of the prominent features of Sol Haven is our very own custom bot that automates many of the activities we have to offer. Before you roll your starter, make sure to familiarize yourself with the commands by typing /help in any of the designated channels to bring up a handy list.
Once you feel comfortable enough, head over to the 'Starter Rolls' channel and type /start to receive a randomly traited Pokemon to begin your adventure with. This will also create an inventory for you that you can check with /bag to see all the available items and resources you currently possess.
CREATE A TRACKER
The next best step to take would be to create a tracker for your Pokemon roster that lists important information such as their species, traits, level, obtained from, and any other additional notes that you want to include. Keep in mind that moderators are not responsible for maintaining your tracker, so make sure that all the necessary proofs are being updated or else you may risk being excluded from certain activities that require them. Worse yet would be to potentially misplace one of your Pokemon!
It's recommended you use Google Sheets for your tracker, but any of the following plus some are also viable choices: Google Docs, Google Sites, Toyhouse, Stash, Wix, and Weebly.

CREATE A REFERENCE

CREATE A PROFILE
Refer to the above guide for a more in-depth explanation on the information required for your Pokemon's individual profile!
LOG YOUR PROFILE
After creating your Pokemon's profile you will need to remember to link it on your tracker. If you are setting a Pokemon as your active (/set) you will also be prompted for a link to said profile. Not setting a link will prevent you from using that particular Pokemon in activities with this specific requirement to participate.
